Hi,
I am Bernard
Chasse, president of your Chamber of Commerce.
I am a graduate
of the University of Quebec in Montreal and an approved property
assessor. My office is on Rue Sainte-Louise in St-Jean-de-Matha.
I moved here in 2000 and have been involved in various cultural
and social committees ever since.
The
challenge that we on the board of directors face over the next two
years is to improve the quality of life of the community as a whole.
We have a team of dynamic business people like; Mr. Pierre Houle,
our Vice President, Mr. Jacques Ross our Treasurer, Mr. Jean-Claude
Dufour, Mr. Mario Tremblay, Mr. Michel Venne (directors) and Mrs.
France Lapierre our full time administrative secretary.
As a team we
are committed to working tirelessly to help our members succeed.
We
will work with our elected officials to promote the village, to
create better visibility for our businesses, and to install an open
air market where we can encourage the local population buy local
specialties, fruits and vegetables from the communitys farms
and producers.
We
are at the disposal of the local community and its business community
and are open to discuss any project or idea that can help our community.
I
also want to invite all of the population to actively participate
in all of our fundraising activities like the Festi-Force Louis-Cyr
, the supper, the raffle etc., or simply volunteer. No matter how
you do it
Get involved!
Bravo for supporting
our local merchants. I know that we can continue to count on you!
Thank you for
your vote of confidence,
BERNARD CHASSÉ, b.c.c.É.A.
